AUDITIONS - 25th ANNUAL PLAYWRIGHT/DIRECTOR'S WORKSHOP

August 23, 24, and  25,  2019 

at the air-conditioned Parish Hall of The United Methodist Church at Shrub Oak, in Shrub Oak, NY.

Auditions to be held for the 28th Annual Award Winning Playwright/Director's Workshop of original one-act plays. The Playwright/Director’s Workshop has garnered scores of individual and ensemble awards throughout the years for actors, directors, and productions, all around New York State and the Middle Atlantic Region. Productions have performed and been chosen as Best Short Play or runner up numerous times at the TANYS Festival and at the regional ESTAFest /Original Works Festival.

 A representative from the Theatre Association of New York State (TANYS) will adjudicate the final performance. Feedback will be given to the playwrights, directors, actors, and the individual productions. Audience members will also participate with anonymous comment sheets.

Numerous roles are available for female/male actors aged mid 20s through 80. 

Audition reading will be from the scripts themselves. No other preparation is needed.
