WHO'S WHO - PLACES


Ed Friedman (Playwright) has had his short plays staged by the Gallery Players, Darknight Productions, Turtle Shell Productions, Hand to Mouth,  Belmont Playhouse, The Puzzle Theatre Festival, Long Island Theatre Collective, Village Playwrights, Axial Theatre, and End Times Productions among others. They include The Keys to LifeMine/OursTwo Ships, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, Out and About, and Let No Man Tear Asunder. Ed  most recently directed the Westchester tour of Sight Unseen for M&M Productions, and Day of Beauty for Axial Theatre. Previous directorial credits include Daughters, A Walk in the Woods, I Never Sang for My Father, To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday, Breakfast with Les and Bess, The Gingerbread Lady, Round and Round the Garden, and Public Affairs.


Richard Troiano (Director)  is very pleased to once again be directing in the PDW for the third consecutive year.  He is having a great time working with such a talented and hard-working cast and enjoying every minute. He would like to credit Ed for writing such a witty and fun play and entrusting us with bringing it to life. Once again. He would like to point out that Anne and Gary have done a great job putting the festival together and deserve many accolades.Finally,  thanks to Kate and Rob for  their important and continued support which makes everything possible. 

Tom Campbell (Robert) has recently performed as Henry, the Old Actor in Peekskill Embark's production of The Fantasticks and the friend in last year's PDW production of Ray's Date, Part I. Other portrayals of note include Marley's Ghost in Scrooge for HTM and Octave in Scapin for YCP TheaterWorks.   Tom directed castmate Jacqueline Anne's The Script  which went on to be part of the TANYS festival and is directing Rubicon Crossed for this year's PDW.  An avid hiker and camper, Tom enjoys these most when doing them with sons, Aidan and Noah.

Kate Gleeson (Maggie) is thrilled to be in this one act  festival. Previous roles include Sister Aloysious in Doubt, Mother Miriam Ruth in Agnes of God, and Bananas in  House of Blue Leaves. Thanks to the whole cast, and a shout out to Rich and Robbie for being so awesome! Enjoy the show!

Jacqueline Anne Smith (Laura) is participating in her 5th season with the HTM Players PDW. "Playing pretend" with her friends is one of her greatest joys and the best therapy money can't buy! Jacqueline Anne has received awards both in acting and playwrighting from TANYS. When she's not on stage, you can find her in the classroom teaching calculus ala common core to 5 year olds!
